ROFL Thanks

Ole got a can of Skyline Chili as a prize (which is a local food from my area). He had with him a local Wisconsin delight in the way of a peanut log candy bar which I had never eaten before and which Ole claimed wouldn't melt in a tank bag, so he gave me one and I enjoyed it. When he got back home he sent me some for my travels. I am headed to a ST event today and will throw a couple in my tank bag for a road snack. Very thoughtful of Ole.

Yeah, whatever you do, don't put those bars in the fairing pockets. OTOH, you could put that chili there and have a nice hot lunch!

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

I hate to continue the candy-related derailment of this thread, but does this food item have a brand name? I feel as though I am up on most of the Wisconsin food traditions (Brats, corn, cheese, beer, cheese, and of course beer), but this one does not ring a bell.

Ahhh... I have had those before! You're right, they do not melt. However, they do get to be a bit brick-like when cold.

Mmmm good. One did not survive the trip. I ate it.

ST gathering was a bit bigger than the CB Rally. Looked to be about 40 bikes. They came from as far away as South Carolina to the south, New York to the east, Iowa to the west, and Ontario, Canada to the north and everywhere in between. This is one of about 50 of these events scattered throughout the country. ST owners like to ride a long ways lol. I rode up this morning, did a lunch and group ride, and a dinner, then came back home. 12 hours only 324 miles riding, the rest eating lol.

went over 12,000 miles for the year on today's ride and turned over 91,000 on the ST.

Garage was warm enough today to fetch the rally banner from it and make this slight modification to the autographs.

Ummm.. You may have just missed it. But you never know when another might pop up. I'd ride to Texas if you invited us!
