Howdy from Charleston
CB1100 owner for over a year now, on a '14 std. I just haven't been very social about it. I'm a day-to-day commuter on mine, and I'm just now getting into making modifications and dressing it up to be more practical. Probably going to be bothering everybody for aftermarket parts advice a lot.

i'll tell you a boring story about what I do for a living: I design and sell custom cabinets. And, wouldn't you know it, one of the most popular door styles that go on those cabinets is called "Savannah." everybody buys Savannah. it's affordable, it's simple, it's impossible not to like Savannah. Funny thing though, we also sell a door called Charleston. It looks *exactly* like Savannah. i mean, the lay person cannot tell them apart. there's only one difference: Savannah is made of cheap particle board and Charleston has a solid hardwood maple panel.

Charleston: exactly like Savannah, just more substance :-p

RE: Howdy from Charleston
Hello from Ohio. I don't yet have a CB1100 but seriously considering one. Having owned 18 motorcycles in 48 years so I guess there's a heap of experience to share. It depends a lot on what you're planning to do, what type of riding etc. and how much you can spend. There are aftermarket products for touring, sport riding or even making your CB1100 more retro. Whatever your taste in motorcycles is there is something for it.
