She seems to be pointed towards Nova Scotia in that photo. Good luck concentrating on anything else today.

  • SW-Motech crash bars (won't ride without some sort of engine guard, they have saved my leg before)
  • Honda Rear Rack (need to be able to haul a twelver of beer on my Friday evening "beer run")
  • Grip Puppies (bad hands from too much time working)
  • BeadRider (I don't need any time in that seat to know I'm going to need help)

That should do it. Don't want to do too much to it. I'm coming at this as a former Harley guy and trying to leave behind the practice of customization. Any changes made to the CB1100 are going to be truly for practical reasons -- Not for bling, not for performance. I love the way this bike looks straight outta the crate and plan to keep it that way. And really, where I live, there is no need to customize to make it unique because I will likely never see another one.

Cheers!

hi , welcome to cb word site and you will love this bike.

about grip puppy, you can try "original grip body llc". very easy to install and i like them.
as you,can t wait for this snow and gravel on the road gone.

Hey! Don't forget about me.

Four CBs would make a rally wouldn't it? I've been around the Cabot Trail twice - '02 on a '00 Honda Sabre and '07 on '03 Night Train -
and would definitely do it again.

There is also the Fundy Trail in my backyard, it's not quite finished yet but they are working on it.
Sorry W/R. Of course you'll be there for the rally. I'll be depending on you guys to help me with the language barrier.

So I've been thinking, if there is any interest I would be more than willing to host a rally here this summer. I'm at a fairly central location for the Maritimes and there is lots of good riding here.

Food for thought.

W/R - I'm interested if I can make the dates work. As I said in an earlier post, I have lots of family vacation planning to do first before I can begin thinking seriously about motorcycle adventures. Right now, with my brand new shiny bike in the garage and huge mounds of dirt and gravel in the streets preventing me from riding, a rip around the block seems like an adventure. I can't wait!

It will have to be a 6-pack. The Honda rear rack is only 10 inches long. You might have to budgie cord the beer on the back of the seat like we use to do in the 60s and 70s. Mind you in today's world, you are liable to attract a lot of unwanted attention. Confused

In the good old days it had to be a two-four on the seat, or you would be frowned upon showing up at the party. Mind you, beer was a lot cheaper then. In the 60s I could fill the tank of my BSA for 50 cents, and ride to the Ottawa House Tavern where 50 cents would get you 2 small draft. Today the bottle refunds for a 2-4 are $2.40
