RE: New FJ-09 in the Family
I'm always surprised that the bike makers seem incapable of making a decent windscreen. The screen on my Tiger 1050 was awful causing annoying buffeting at highway speeds. Least it keeps the aftermarket in the black.

1 Cor 13:4-7 (NIV)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

This amazes me too, Redbirds. Can't they just test a screen and make it work for more riders? The new Yamaha Tmax has a screen that is lower in the middle (DUH) to not spill noisy compressed air into the rider's helmet. I took the screen off a rented Harley Fatboy one year. Useless buffeting.

My son-in-law's custom DIY windshield...which is essentially no longer a windshield.

In general I've never been a huge fan of windshields but I have to admit the stock one on my Ulysses is pretty good, I don't get any buffeting at all.
