Found this beauty on kijiji for $50. Met a heck of a nice guy with lots of beats stories to tell, I was there way longer than intended. He was also fascinated with the CB, I think he had a road king HD. Anyhow the jacket is a bit small, but I intend to shed a few more pounds so this will pick up the slack when my Oxblood Taurus gets too big. Also any Dirk Gently fans may be a tad jealous!! The brand is British Cycle Leathers made in Canada, don't know when, but the stitching is great and the leather feels like a competition weight Vanson.

Bristol have been in business since 1958. I bought my first jacket from them in the mid-60s. In the 80s I passed it on to my younger brother because it no longer fit me.
Are there venting zippers at the top of the sleeves and back of the jacket? A detachable quilted liner and kidney belt? If so you made a real score. They list them at $699.

No the jacket is vintage, just a liner not removeable no vents. The company was in Montreal and operated as Brimaco and British Racing leathers finally being renamed Wind Cheater before becoming defunct. Mine is late 60's early 70's impossible to determine for sure. I've seen lots around kijiji by the company in various eras and names and it's all good quality made in Canada stuff, but the tendency is for stuff to be too small, 36-40 most jackets and even then the fit runs small. So to find one I can fit in is really exciting, even if I'm focusing on the phone too much to show it.

Here is a link to a blog with a bit of the BRIMACO history.
Obviously the companies in Montreal copied their competitors jacket styles.
